The World Professional Chuckwagon Association Is Back In 2019
We had a few events last year, but we have even more World Professional Chuckwagon Association action in 2019, starting with Grande Prairie.
The World Professional Chuckwagon Association is here on FloRodeo to stay for three years, with six events streaming each year. We had a few events on the calendar last year, but in 2019 we have even more World Professional Chuckwagon Association action for you, that started with the Grande Prairie Stompede.
"WPCA fans have been asking for a close-up view of the races through their computer or mobile device for some time," the organization said in the press release announcing the first half of the season that will see Grande Prairie, High River, and Ponoka streamed on FloRodeo.
The WPCA officially announced yesterday an agreement between FloRodeo and the top chuckwagon association to livestream six events from 2019-2021. You can catch all of that excitement up-close from home and see all of the special moments that happen throughout a season, like Vern Nolin winning the $50,000 Tommy Dorchester Winner-Take-All Race, a win he said was the best in his career:
The 2019 season includes:
Grande Prairie Stompede - May 29-June 2
Guy Weadick Days (High River) - June 20-23
(Watch full replays of the 2018 event HERE)
Ponoka Stampede - June 26-July 1
(Watch full replays of the 2018 event HERE)
Strathmore Stampede - August 2-5
Dawson Creek Battle Of The North - August 7-11
Century Downs World Finals - August 21-25
"Along with sponsors, fans who buy tickets and attend the live events are investing into the sport and it's future," the WPCA Director of Marketing Bryan Hebson said in the most recent press release. "They may not realize it but they are making a difference as do the people who subscribe to watch on FloRodeo when they can't attend. Their support is appreciated."
