Winning the 2018 Canadian title was special to steer wrestler Scott Guenthner because it meant he could share winning that title with his father, Ken Guenthner, who won the title in 1981. Winning the title again in 2019 was made all the more exciting because this time, Guenthner was a dad himself.
It wasn't exactly easy going, with a baby born just a handful of days before the finals, and a tough first few go-rounds, Guenthner had to battle through the six days in Red Deer, Alberta. Watch each round of the 2019 Canadian Finals Rodeo steer wrestling competition below:
