“Sometimes it works out that way, and I’m damn glad it did for me today,” Tanner Milan said after winning the steer wrestling at the Strathmore Stampede. 

His 3.8-second run resulted in a $5,583.60 paycheck — one that could have major implications for the cowboy that is trying to make his third WNFR. He already has the Canadian Finals Rodeo in the bag, but at 19th in the world standings before the weekend, Milan still needs to add some money to his season total in order to compete at the world series of rodeo.
