The Canadian Professional Rodeo Association requires all members to compete in at least 15 regular-season events (excluding special events) in order to be eligible to qualify for the Canadian Finals Rodeo, and guess who made it past the 15-rodeo threshold this weekend?

The five-time and reigning world champion bull rider, Sage Kimzey. That’s who. 

With over $30,000 already won in the CPRA and with less than 10 rodeos left in the season, he’s also virtually guaranteed himself a spot in Red Deer for his first CFR.
