When Justine Elliott made her first run for the alley at the 2018 Canadian FInals Rodeo, her rookie nerves may have gotten the best of her and caused her to hit a barrel. She wasn't going to let that happen again in 2019.

Elliott took came into round one of the 2019 Canadian Finals Rodeo as the No. 1 barrel racer and - after winning the round with her time of 14.510 - that's where she'll stay heading into night No. 2.
