For the second time in less than 48 hours, a new Canadian Finals Rodeo record was established in the saddle bronc riding.

For the first time since 2006, a bull rider will wear the coveted No. 1 back number at the Canadian Finals Rodeo.

With the 2022 Canadian Professional Rodeo season winding down, one of the most critical weekends of the fall took place entirely in the nation's westernmost province.

Ever since Orin Larsen ran his hand into a riggin' as a kid, it's been his dream to win a Canadian bareback riding title. That dream came true in Red Deer, Alberta at the 2019 Canadian Finals Rodeo when Larsen emerged as the champion on November 3.

The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association announced their top stock of the year awards for the 2019 rodeo season in a press release today with some well-known bucking horses and bulls making it into the top three. Congratulations to the contractors that worked long hours, traveled many miles and put the love and care into helping these animals reach their potential.

You all know we love crunching numbers, so now that the official list of competitors for the 2019 Canadian Finals Rodeo is in (see the entire list with back numbers HERE) we wanted to know just how much of a fight we’re about to see between the competitors in each of the events – starting with the roughstock competitors.
