Ty Harris laid down the fastest run of The American in the semifinals long round and qualified to the shootout round with two runs. He was lucky he had one to spare too, after the talented roper missed his first calf in the shootout round and had to shift his focus to his second run. Harris showed mental game far beyond his age and went on to make the fastest run of the shootout round at 7.57.
